SECTION K - CONTAINER-GROWN DAFFODILS - Blooms are to be grown in and exhibited in a container or pot. All bulbs in any one container shall be of the same cultivar or species. Container-grown daffodils may be grown in protected areas. No bloom or exhibit in this section shall be eligible for any ADS award other than the ADS awards for container-grown daffodils. Rule #15 is extended to permit subdividing classes by daffodil division.
SECTION L - HISTORIC DAFFODILS - This section is open to all cultivars, i.e., not species, introduced or in gardens before 1940. All cultivars shall be labeled with name, division number, and year of registration (or introduction) as listed in the ADS Daffodil Data Bank. No bloom in this section shall be eligible for any ADS award other than the ADS ribbon for Pre-1940 Cultivar. ARTISTIC DESIGN DIVISION Artistic Design Rules
A Best of Show will be awarded for the most outstanding exhibit in the Artistic Arrangements Division. The Calaveras Cup, a traveling trophy, will be awarded to the highest scoring arrangement done by a Calaveras County Garden Club member.

Design Rules 1.
The Artistic Design Section is open to all. 2.
Only one entry per class per exhibitor is allowed for a total of six entries per
exhibitor. 3.
NO fresh plant material may be treated in any way. Treated dried material is
permissible. 4.
NO artificial plant material is allowed. 5.
Daffodils must predominate in all arrangements. 6.
Judging will be done by a judge or judges qualified by the National Council of
State Garden Clubs, Inc. All decisions are final. 4.
Exhibits must be left in place until the close of each show. Exhibitors should pick
up their accessories or arrange for someone else to claim them by 5 pm (Livermore) or 4 pm
(Murphys) on Sunday. Class AR 1
