Convention Program

The Northern California Daffodil Society welcomes you to the 56^th ADS Convention and National Show in the historic town of Murphys in California's famous Mother Lode – where the discovery of gold in 1848 initiated the 19^th century's worldwide lust for gold – and instant riches. Gold mining is but an occasional activity in the Mother Lode now, but visitors to the region can see the remnants of the mining operations which withdrew fortunes in gold by diverting the stream beds into sluices, by tunneling into the mountains, and by washing the mountainsides away with giant jets of water.

 

Enjoy the flowers, friends, Ironstone and Murphys' gold-rush era ambiance.  Our shuttle service will provide you with transportation between your hotel to downtown Murphys and to Ironstone Vineyards.  Keep in mind, our hospitality room will be available for all convention attendees. 

 

Below is the planned Convention Program complete with times and planned activities.  Adjustments may be made to this Program prior to the opening of the Convention.

10-11am	Historic Walking Tour (or free time), meet at Ol' Miners' Museum in downtown Murphys

10am-5pm	Wine-tasting, Museum, and Jewelry Shop open at Ironstone
11am-1pm	Lunch on own either at Ironstone's Deli or Downtown Murphys
