Fortuna Garden Club Daffodil Show

 

Daffodil Friends,

There will be a lovely daffodil show in Fortuna, California on the weekend following the ADS Convention and National Show in Murphys. The Fortuna Daffodil Show on March 20-21 will be in the River Lodge Conference Center, a beautiful facility built especially for public events. (Some of you might have seen the Fortuna Daffodil Show on Internet via the Fortuna webcam.)

The Fortuna Garden Club invites you to Fortuna for their Show. Should you wish, you will be welcome in the showroom on Friday evening to socialize with exhibitors and help stage entries. Exhibitors guarantee they will bring enough daffodils to need your help! The Show opens at 1pm on Saturday. On Saturday evening, there will be a special dinner for visitors and locals.

Fortuna is just inland from the Pacific coast, 275 miles north of San Francisco - about a six-hour drive through some of the most scenic parts of California, including the Avenue of the Giants Redwood Forest. Fortuna is ten miles south of the  harbor town of Eureka - a photographer's delight with its fleet of fishing boats.
