Daffodil Friends

I stayed in one of the two-bedroom, furnished "vacation cottages" during our Murphys 2009 show weekend just concluded. It was comfortable and cozy - a fireplace that was useful since we had a cold front come through Saturday night with a bit of light snow mixed in with the rain.  Thankfully, no wind.  Just a perfect weekend - sunny and pleasant during Saturday afternoon. Chilly night. Cool Sunday with intermittent light snowflakes. Bottom line: the cottages are perfect for two couples!  Check our NCDS website www.daffodil.org for links to the two different managers.

For those of you who might be interested, two Murphys couples approached me and offered "home-stays" for couples in their guest rooms for the 2010 weekend. These would be at no cost. Contact me if this appeals to you. I'll make a list (first responding, first gets) - I hope to get additional offers from Murphys folks.
