Murphys Information

Daffodil Friends,

In its Travel Section, the SF Bay Area newspaper Contra Costa Times ran an article on Murphys. In it I learned that Murphys was named one of the "Top 10 Coolest Small Towns in America" by Frommer's in 2006. I also learned that the Mineral Restaurant on Main Street in Murphys is a foodie's highlight for lunch! It is a small place with just six tables inside and seven tables in the outside patio (www.mineralrestaurant.com). If it is full when you arrive, the newspaper food critic says not to worry "there's lots of good food in this town." You'll have Friday morning and lunchtime to enjoy for yourselves.

After Friday lunch, the superb chefs at Ironstone Vineyards will be preparing your meals! (Except that if you sleep in and miss the Saturday and Sunday breakfasts at Ironstone, then you'd have breakfast downtown those mornings as well.)
