ADS National Show and Convention at Murphys, Calif - March 11-14
2010 ARTISTIC SCHEDULE
Mother Lode Show – A Standard Flower Show – sponsored by the Calaveras County Garden Club.
Entries will be accepted between 4 pm and 9 pm on Friday, March 12 and 6:30 – 8:00 am Saturday, March 13, 2010. Only exhibitors and show personnel will be permitted in the show room at these times. Judging will be on Saturday, March 13 between 8:30 am and 10:00 am.

ARTISTIC DIVISION GENERAL RULES |

1. |
The Artistic Design Division is open to all California Valley Lode District Garden Club members. |
|
2. |
Only one entry per class per exhibitor is allowed for a total of six entries per exhibitor. Entries must be pre-registered by March 1st. |
| 3. | Daffodils must predominate in all arrangements. |
| 4. |
No fresh plant material may be treated in any way. Treated dried material is permitted unless otherwise stated per individual class. |
| 5. |
No artificial plant material is allowed. |
| 6. | Accessories are permitted in all classes. |
| 7. |
Judging will be done by judges qualified by the National Garden Clubs, Inc.. All decisions are final. |
| 8. |
Exhibitors must replace any wilted materials. |
| 9. |
Width of the arrangements may not exceed 30 inches. |
|
10. |
Exhibits, ribbons, and awards must be left in place until the close of the show. Exhibitors should pick up their accessories or arrange for someone else to claim them on Sunday, March 14 by 5 pm. Show personnel will not be responsible for loss or damage to anyone’s property. |

Each class will be awarded a Blue ribbon for first, a Red ribbon for second, a Yellow ribbon for third, and a White ribbon for Honorable Mention. A Best of Show ribbon will be awarded for the most outstanding Blue ribbon exhibit.
The Calaveras Cup, a traveling trophy, will be awarded to the most outstanding exhibit by a Calaveras County Garden Club member. The Calaveras Cup may not be awarded to an exhibitor who is not a member of the Calaveras County Garden Club.
